Hatchetts

hetcheras.jpg
Located just a stone’s throw away from The Ritz and on the other side of Green Park from Buckingham Palace is Hatchetts, an upmarket restaurant with a focus on British cuisine. The venue was founded in 1720 as Hatchetts’ White Horse Cellar and over the years the cellar has been a popular meeting point and even features in Dickens’ The Pickwick Papers and other works of the time. Now, it offers a classic yet contemporary menu consisting of hearty British dishes, including the likes of fish and chips, 28-day aged sirloin steak and pan-fried salmon.
